CONGRATULATION :LAUTECH ASUU SUSPENDS STRIKE

I write to inform you this morning that resumption of academic activities is finally in green light. So, start preparing for school. The 9 months strike is about to be suspended as ASUU set to hold a historical congress on Tuesday. The congress will not only capture the presence of congress men but National officer who also double as Zonal coordinator and member of ASUU LAUTECH. So, expectation is high that there is end in sight.

Though, A purported date for exam is already been announced by the management for the commencement of exams, but the truth about the matter is that, exams wont commence on 20th of February, and i doubt if will start during the week. But the surest bet is that; there may be either a resumption of academic activities or release of examination time-table during the week.

To elucidate, there would be a senate sitting immediately Asuu suspend their strike whereby Dean and provost will work on examination time table. Also, resumption of academic activities will also follow immediately after there is approval from National body on the outcome of their resolution.

But have it at the back of your mind that exams wont commence without the lecturers holding a revision class. So, students still at home are justified and have no regret whatsoever to be home till now. So, if Asuu suspend their strike next week, at least a week or two weeks would be given to prepare for exams.

MY ADVICE;

As you know that a stitch in time save nine, so we urge you all to start preparing for school. This word of encouragement become imperative, and as a result of my consultation from those who are central in decision making. I've tried in as much to engage appropriate quarters about the reality on ground, and to some reasonable extent, I've been convinced and assured of positivity. So, our prayer is that things goes as expected.
