According to Dubai Media Office, the two-seater AAT, capable of transporting people without human intervention or a pilot, has been supplied by Volocopter, a Germany-based specialist manufacturer of automated air vehicles. The National Industrial Court in Ikoyi has directed the Staff Unions of the Lagos State Polytechnic to suspend the strike action embarked upon on August 1st, 2017. This court ruling was given on Tuesday August 15th 2017 by the Hon. Justice F.I. Kola-Olalere pending the hearing and determination of the Unions’ notice and preliminary objection to the notice of interlocutory injunction by the Lagos State Government. It will be recalled that the State Government last week took the agitating staff unions of the institutions to court to stop them from continuing their industrial action. According to Lagos State Magistrate court, the paties involved are to serve 14 years inprisonment for such act under the constitution of Nigeria. As many as 100 people may have been killed in a day of clashes between rival factions in the Central African Republic town of Bria, shortly after a  truce  deal was signed, the town's mayor said. Bodies lay in the streets of Bria, around 580km northeast of the capital, Bangui, and dozens more people were treated for shotgun wounds after fighting erupted at dawn on Tuesday. "The death toll will certainly rise. For now it's an estimate and it could be up to 100 dead," Maurice Belikoussou told the Reuters news agency on Wednesday by telephone,raising an earlier death toll of "around 50". The State Government, in a news conference jointly addressed by officials of the State, the police and NURTW at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa, said while the suspension order lasts, there would be no collection of tickets/fees from commuter buses operating in the area. Addressing the briefing, the State’s Acting Commissioner for Transportation, Prince Olanrewaju Elegushi said throughout the duration of the suspension order, a team of State Government officials and security personnel would be mandated to oversee and monitor the transport operations
